My dream body

May 26, 2016

There is a lot of pressure these days on how your body looks like. It has to be according to a certain shape. This pressure appears in a lot of social medias but I don’t see the problem as long as it does not harm others. I am very focused on how my body looks like and that is up to me how I want my body to look like. I care about what I eat and spend a lot of time in the gym. If others choose to do differently that should be up to them. I think that people should accept other peoples life style and if focus on their own body is part of it then let them have that interest.

I admire Michelle Lewin and I see her as my role model for how I want my body to look like. I have seen some videos of her where she explains how she obtained her body structure and it is a lot of hard work behind it. She goes to the gym every day, in the morning and in the evening and that tells us how much she actually sacrifices for having that body. Everyone has an opportunity that get a nice body but it requires effort. If your lazy and are not interested to sacrifice then your jealously should not judge people who do sacrifice a lot. Every time I see her it gives me a lot of motivation to go to the gym haha

I don’t know whether I will achieve the exact same body as her because I really love sweets. My main goal is not to do body fitness but just want a body that I’m satisfied with. Michelle Lewin’s body is my dream body but if I’m not getting my body exactly like that I’m still fine with my body as long it is fit.

What do you think about this topic? Do you work out a lot?

I’ve come from the community pool page, I saw your comment and thought I would check your page out. I absolutely love your layout and blog design – it’s so awesome! I completely agree with you on this post. I think everyone has a different idea as to what the perfect body type is. The most important thing is to feel confident with your body whatever shape/size you are! 🙂

Roberta, Please don’t chase after this body or any other body. You’ll never achieve it. No matter how fit you get, you’ll never be satisfied with the results. Your ideal body will keep changing and you’ll never be *done*. Focus on fitness. Set goals and achieve those goals (120 minutes of zumba, 15 mile hike, etc). I run (a lot), instruct spin classes, lift, hike, etc. I’m *really* fit, but to me my body looks skinny. I used to chase after larger muscles and better cuts. Now my goals are distance, time and calories burned goals. They are achievable and I’m much more satisfied with exercise. Thanks for ‘liking’ my blog post.

I used to work out every other day and watched my diet and a focus was partly on aesthetics. However, I fell down some stairs (well, one step!) and hurt my back last year and now I just wish I could get back to the fitness to be functionally strong, not worrying necessarily about how I look.
