Hello fabulous readers! 🙂
Teenagers are teenagers and sometimes it can be hard to make them leave social media and the tv screen for a trip in the nature. There is a fabulous nature area close to where we live that I wanted to show to my daughter but she was not that exited as her mother in the beginning. Actually I had to convince both her and my boyfriend who doesn’t like the nature that much either – but I did it haha. After some negotiations at home both came with me for a lovely walk in quite surroundings where we could listen to birds, see the blue skies, hear the sound of the waves and just enjoy the beautiful weather that we had today.
We walked for about one hour in the nature and enjoyed one another’s company and it was nice to communicate without distractions like mobiles and so on. We laughed together and took some pictures on the trip.
On the way home we discussed whether we should make food at home or just order a pizza since it was weekend and we decided for the last one. Below you can see a video of Stephanie trying to balance on a line which is more difficult than it looks like actually. We have all tried but none of us have managed to walk the entire line. We really had a great time and just went home to relax a little bit before the next thing on our agenda.
Stephanie really wanted to go to the cinema to see a horror movie that neither me or Johan wanted to see but we wanted to meet our guest desires and make her happy so we went with her. The name of the movie is lights out and in true horror fashion there was a lot of scary moments which gave shivers down our spines. I was glad that I could hire my face sometimes and hold tight to Johan haha. However, the most important goal was that my daughter should have a wonderful evening and she really did. On our way home we took some pictures as you can see below. Stephanie and Johan wanted to show how bad they could look on the picture and they really look like to mafiosos as you can see on the first picture in this post haha.
My daughter is actually taller than me which is a bit hard to believe and she is very beautiful. I am really proud of her and I love her very much. Now we have only three days left and we will try to make her stay the best as possible before she travels back home to start her studies as an ambulance driver. The education will only last for one year but her goal is to become a nurse.
I must say that we have had a wonderful day and I am looking forward to the rest of her stay here in Stavanger with us. On Monday Johan’s father will come to visit us as well and we don’t have the plans ready yet but you will know since I will update you on what we are doing these days.
I hope you have had a wonderful day as well!
