There is so many things going on in our lives now after we decided that we are going to move from Stavanger. Yesterday was the most busy day with a lot of reflections because moving is a big step to take but the right one for us. This made me to completely forget to post yesterday’s schedule which I want to apologise for. However, I hope you understand that my head can get a bit messed up when there is so many things going on. As a result of this I will post two schedules today.
This post is about what me and my boyfriend do at the gym. We want to be an active couple and we do care about how we look. This is of importance because it heightens up our self-esteem as well as we want to look good for one another. I have to admit that we have lost some of the rhythm during summer time and these pictures are from the spring where we use to get up 6 am to go to the gym. Waking up early and exercise is so good. It is very hard at the beginning but once you get started and make it a routine it is so beneficial since you feel very awake and it gives you so much energy afterwards for the rest of the day.
On the picture below you can see how I started. You can see that I have no weights on since I started easy and advanced as time went by. When you are a rookie it is important to start easy on your body because starting too heavy will make you lose your motivation. The exercises that you see below are for chest and triceps but I have also included exercises for the back and legs as well.
On the next picture you can see that I have advanced and put some weights on. It is important to do so because you don’t want your muscles to get use to the weight to make your muscles stronger.
On the picture below you can see me and my boyfriend during the workout at 6 am in the morning. The exercise from the picture below to the left is really good for your abs and I do this a lot. Additionally, you can see a traditional exercise for biceps on the picture below to the right.
We are going to continue our morning training since it gives us so much energy and helps us to get a good start on the day. However, we see that it will be difficult to make it happen when my boyfriend will start working and that is why we have decided to buy weights and turn one of our rooms in the apartment to a training room. We are going to buy weights and do the exercises at home in the morning. This will save us a lot of time and some money as well and the best thing is that we don’t have to spend the evening for going to the gym. After coming home from work it is nice to don’t have to go to the gym and use the evening for our duties like cleaning the apartment, blogging and so on. I will give you an update on our training room project once it is done but it won’t be before we have installed ourselves in the city that we are going to move to. Then I will give a post where I write about each exercise I do in detail.
