About last Sunday

December 21, 2016

It is not always easy to live far away from my family in this time of year. I wish I could have them here in Norway so that I could celebrate Christmas together with them, but sometimes we can’t have everything we wish for and it hurts. However,
I’m lucky to have two wonderful daughters who I spend time together with. One of them lives in my city but the other one lives in another city and therefor I must travel to be with her. Therefor there is a part that is missing in my Christmas celebration even though I am able to cerebrate with my other daughter, Johan and my father-in-law.

Last Sunday I travelled to Aalesund where my youngest daughter lives and I was able to spend the day with her and have fun. We went to a play ground that is very popular for the children where they can use some energy and have some fun. As you can see from the pictures she is a very active person full of life and therefor she really enjoyed our time together on the play ground.

We even tried climbing and I must say that I was a bit afraid and it looked like she was handling it better than I. My daughter is braver than her mom haha.

I miss her already but I will see her soon again which I really look forward to. I know that she is living with people that really love her and that helps me to tolerate the fact that she doesn’t live with me.

She told me that she was going to celebrate the Christmas in a cabin where there is a lot of snow. She will celebrate with her cousins and she looks forward to open the presents for Christmas.

I wish you all a wonderful Christmas celebration! <3

I loved your photos, Roberta! I just visited w my granddaughter (5 years old) and we went to a climbing playspace like in your photos. It was fun, but exhausting to do all that climbing! ha ha My granddaughter lives in another city from me also, but I was lucky to have a visit in early December.

I know and understand how you feel! My family is far away as well and it hurts, but all we can give them during this season (and always) is an open heart willing to help and support them; and share with them words of appreciation so that They’ll know how much we love them!

Wish you a Merry Christmas 🙂
