As the age goes by our body also changes. When I was a teenager I could eat whatever I wanted without gaining as much weight as I do today. Ahhh, I miss that time so much. There are so many temptations that are so difficult to avoid sometimes. However, for not so long time ago I started to take care of myself and changed the way I was eating.
This doesn’t mean that I never can enjoy a nice meal and even some sweets, but during the week I only eat healthy food. I do not only do this just for the sake of how I look but also because bad eating habits can seriously damage our body on the inside, even skinny people can look terrible on the inside and being fooled by their look. Many of the common diseases today are related to our nutrition such as diabetes and so on.
Eating healthy doesn’t mean that you have to starve because there are many ways to stop the hunger without having to eat that many calories. I do love to workout and it is so important to eat right, so your body gets the vitamins and proteins it needs.
Today Johan and I prepared a delicious and healthy meal which contained only 500 calories. Johan loves to make food the opposite of me haha. It was really nice of him to do so since I was a bit sick today. It was really good and we had a such nice time together.
2 chicken breasts, 170 gram each
Some leafs of spinach, rucola and some salad
A little bit of spice which contains some salt
Lime juice on the top of the salad the give it some bitter taste
The chicken is easily fried in a pan with some oil, pepper and a bit salt. The sause where bought at the supermarket, a Norwegian recipe, but I am sure that you will find a chicken sause in your country.
This was a lovely meal with good tastes and the best thing of everything is that I did not feel guilty after the meal since I was eating very heathy. I could have been even healthier and eaten the meal without sause but I think a little bit is aloud.
