I was supposed to be your guest “poster” on Sunday’s and Wednesday’s but have missed this great opportunity to reach out via robertapimentel.com. For that grievance, I apologize to Roberta and all of you. But, it’s a new year and the challenges of the old year are behind us. For the LF2SF crew, we have huge family, personal and athletic challenges in the coming year that I’ll make sure to cover in my Sunday and Wednesday Guest Posts. This coming year we plan on buying a new (to us) Bluewater Cruising Sailboat (like in January), we’ll be selling our family home, I will be retiring, the entire family will move onto the boat in San Diego, Ca and both me and my wife will train for and finish 1/2 Ironman Santa Rosa. And, we’ll attempt to integrate our 130 pound Great Dane onto the boat while we wait for my wife to retire,,,,,probably make for a few great blog posts. Between Christmas and New Years, the family loaded up into the adventure mobile and road tripped over 800 miles, going from the coast of Southern California to Tombstone, Arizona (site of the famous gunfight at the Ok Corral). After Tombstone, we loaded up again and drove across Arizona to the Grand Canyon, staying for one day. Lastly, we moved on to Prescott, Arizona, the Christmas City of Arizona. Making it home yesterday for the new year’s celebration, we reflect on the past year and look forward to the coming year.
I don’t just write about family travel, sailing, sailboats and adventure travel; me and my family actually live it as much as we can. You can find those stories and info on here or at my site, which is LiveFree2SailFast.com. I look forward to writing for you as 2018 continues stay with robertapimentel.com and come check my site out if you have time.
