Hi Nina Thanks you for accepting my invitation to be a special guest on my blog today. It is very nice to have you here today!

Hi Roberta! Thank you for having me here. It’s my pleasure. 🙂
1. What or who inspired you to start blogging?
 .
It were a book that I’ve read and a TED Talk that inspired me to start blogging. I love to write, and I also have a desire to help and inspire people. I thought blogging is the perfect way for me to do both.
 .
2. Can you describe your blog to someone that never read it?
 .
Well, the main focus of my blog is on Happiness- however, I want it to have some sort of a variety and so I organized it this way:
 .
On Mondays- I write Inspirational or Motivational posts that are focused on Self-Improvement. You can read more about here
 .
On Tuesdays- I post my personally-made quotes or haikus. Here
 .
On Wednesdays- I promote a certain blog and post that I feel is worth sharing. It’s kind of like my “pay it forward” thing. Here
 .
On Thursdays- I share random stuffs that have anything to do with happiness or aim to improve our way of living. I actually like this because it’s fun and I usually end up with a big smile in my face when I am about to publish it. 🙂  Here
 .
On Fridays- I publish a real happiness story. It could be a personal experience of mine or of another blogger who is willing to share his or her own happiness story. I like to include these stories in my blog because I want to show people that “happiness” is real, and not just an illusion; and I want them to realize that it doesn’t really take much to be happy. Here
 .
On Saturdays- I write posts that aim to help develop better relationships with other people. Here
 .
I’m not a happiness guru, but I believe that to live a happy life, one must have good relationships. A good relationship with the Self, with Others, and with God.
 .
3. What’s your favourite part of blogging?
 .
Publishing a post! It gives me a sense of fulfillment whenever I get to publish an article. I love reading and responding to comments too. 🙂
 .
4. What is the most difficult things about blogging? And what do you find the easiest?
 .
I find it difficult to keep followers engaged to your blog. For me, it’s easier to get a new follower. But to keep them in following you and in reading your posts, having them engaged and to comment to what you write– that’s more difficult for me to do. It means that I have to keep coming up with an interesting article to share. 🙂
 .
I also want to connect more with other bloggers but it’s difficult to read as many posts from them as I want to everyday. Since I have a regular job, and a 5-year old daughter to take care of, sometimes it’s hard to catch up reading.
 .
The thing that I find easiest is writing. As long as I already know what I want to write about, the words just come out naturally…
 .
5. How much time do you spend on blogging?
 .
An average of 2-3 hours daily. I don’t schedule to publish my posts on my blog. (But I also write for another blog called “The Millionaire’s Digest” where my posts are scheduled.)
 .
6. What do you think is the best social media strategy to get more visitors to a blog?
I’m not really sure as I am not using any yet. Do you have any suggestions for me? 🙂
 .
7. Is blogging worth doing? Would you encourage other people to make their blog?
 .
Yes, I believe it is. If it is their passion to write and they feel that they have something special to share or contribute to the world, then I would encourage them to create their own blogs.
 .
8. How do you motivate yourself to keep the blog up and running?
 .
I read my readers’ comments. It makes me really happy and inspired when I learn from my readers that they find my posts useful to them. Sometimes, we need affirmations to keep us going.
 .
9. What was the most challenging moment in your blogging journey so far?
 .
Let’s just say that once upon a time, I did try my best to measure up to another person’s expectation, but still fell short in the end. Don’t get me wrong, I didn’t like how it felt, but it was a very good learning experience for me. I honestly did learn a lot from it and I am very grateful.
 .
10. Can you name some of your favourite bloggers and explain why they are your favourites?
 .
Believe me, I have my favorite bloggers. However, as much as I would like to name them, I’d rather not. I don’t want to hurt anybody who I may not mention. But I’m pretty sure that they know who they are as I often visit their blogs and I even became good friends with some of them. 🙂
 .
11. What do you think is the best strategy that worked well for you to get more traffic to your blog?
 .
When other bloggers- especially those with large number of followers- reblog my posts, I usually get more traffic. So, thanks to them! Keep doing that, LOL!
 .
12. What are you doing besides blogging?
I have a full-time job, but I am as “hands-on” as I possibly can with my daughter too.If I’m not studying with her or playing with her, then I’m reading a book or watching a good movie. 🙂
 .
13. Is blogging your profession or just a hobby?
Just a hobby… at least for now.
 .
14. A lot of people think that blogging is an easy way to make money online. Do you have some tips for those people who are interested in making money from the blog?
 .
Just be honest with how you deal with your business.
 .
15. Is there anything else you would like to add?
 .
Yes…as a fellow blogger, I encourage everyone to be more responsible with what we write in our posts or comments. We can’t expect everyone to like what we write (just like we don’t like or we disagree with other posts too sometimes); but we don’t need to be mean. If we have nothing good to say, I think it’s better to just keep quiet. Remember that words are powerful- they could make or break a person.Besides, everybody is entitled to their own opinion.
 .
If we want to stop cyber-bullying, we can start with ourselves. 🙂
 .
Thank you Roberta for having me as your guest blogger. This is really fun!
 .
And for the readers, thank you for spending time here. It’ll be my pleasure to see you visit my blog. I wish everyone a happy life! God bless!
