Who will win? Trump or Clinton?

November 8, 2016

Johan and I are following the election from home and we will stay awake as long as we can!

Donald Trump

Johan is cheering for Clinton and I for Trump but I must say that we found it difficult to really like anyone of them. However, more importantly this question goes to all my American readers who do you want for president?

I voted for Hillary Clinton because her vision for America is way more positive and inclusive than that of Donald Trump. He has made it OK to be hateful and to be nationalistic. Clinton has years of experience in government which will benefit the nation.

I agree with you 100%. I’m not an American but if I could, I’ll vote for Clinton without hesitation! She’s way better than Trump. I pray she wins!

I feel Trump may win marginally..Voter turn out is better than last time which indicates anti incumbency factor for democrats, world has already witnessed Brexit, Colombia anti peace accord referendum, Hungary anti- immigrant referendum..so lets see..by the way one thing is sure that course of history will change with this election..

Worst scenario is no one. Hillary wins and Trump doesn’t accept and it goes to court

Someone other than these two…two different brands of corruption in my opinion but neither is the lesser of two evils to me.

This election has become about so much more than just policy. Let’s be honest. Now we have tread onto moral territory and are having to think outside of the arena that we usually do when contemplating elections. We have to think about who will talk to our children from the television. We have to think about who we are showing to our children as the leader of our country.

I voted for Clinton, she’s the best person who’s running for the job. After what Trump has said about minorities and women, I could not in good conscience vote for him.

This election has been one of the most interesting I have ever lived through, but not in a good way. I respect everyone’s opinion and right to vote in my country, even if I may not agree with their choice. Honestly I just can’t wait until it’s over. Whom did I vote for? The female candidate ๐Ÿ™‚

I’m surprised Roberta that you would want to vote Trump given his attitude towards women and minorities. Having hi in power could set the U.S back decades in Civil Rights.

You don’t have to like the person. You only have to believe that person will protect your interests.

Clinton will win with the endorsement of Obama ๐Ÿ˜‰

Roberta, please satisfy my curiosity: what appeals to you about Trump? ๐Ÿ˜‰ xoM

I am actually glad I don’t have to vote in US because it would be difficult. What I like about Trump is that he says things directly and he doesn’t cover them in political fancy words. Yes he said some bad things about women but asked for forgiveness. No one is perfect. I would have voted for Michelle Obama but I don’t buy Clintons message.

Many may disagree but it’s time for a woman to be President.

This election is a sham. The only redeeming quality for Clinton is that she is a women, hence a vote for equality for women in general. Trump is a trumpet, with no meaning in his words.

Trump is not worthy enough to be a president. A person who spreads hatred, doesn’t respect women should never be elected. I am sad that US has lower standards now.
