On the move

January 5, 2017

OMG!!! What can I say. It is so cold outside that it almost hurts inside my bones haha. The felt temperature is right now -11 while the actual one is -5 degrees. This is very cold for a girl from Rio that has been forced to adjust to the Norwegian climate. However, as long as we have good clothes we manage to deal with it.

It is a busy time where Johan is working these days and that is why he had to work late tonight. I had the car for the whole day and I was actually supposed to pick him up at 4pm but then he called me and told that his boss had asked him to work later today. I went home and take the opportunity to do all kinds of fun girl stuff haha. I danced at least 1 hr Zumba this evening and I must say that my mood is very good right now. Zumba is so good in order to face the winter in Norway since it gives me an energy boost.

On my way home after having picked up Johan at work I had so much energy inside my body that I had to jump. Johan took a picture of me on our way from the car to our apartment that I want to share with you guys haha.. Maybe it is because the weekend is approaching and I will finally have the opportunity to have some days off again and do something fun.

I hope you have had an amazing day so far!

That’s cold. Surprisingly enough, earlier this week in our usually mild Vancouver Island climate, we were at minus 7 degrees celsius with the wind chill. For us that’s about as cold as it gets.

You don’t seem to mind the cold. I have a feeling you’d be happy anywhere you are.

that’s a heat wave compared to us. how do you end up with warmer temps when you’re further north than we are?

I was in Minnesota this week where the temperature never got above 0 degrees F. At least I get to come home to Florida every weekend.

It’s cold in Nova Scotia as well. January and February are the worst winter months. We’re supposed to get a snowstorm this weekend. Peace and blessings, queen.
