Happy Valentine’s day. Johan and I do not tend to go crazy on Valentine’s day but we like to celebrate our love and spend the time together. I had a day off today and therefor I have spent the day studying for my exams. I find it very convenient to use my days off for study and it is so nice and quite being all alone in the house while Johan is at work.
However, I tend to feel a little bit lonely when I am home alone and it was so nice to get Johan home from work. I had the opportunity to miss him today. Johan came home with a nice bouquet of a mix of flowers. I was glad and a bit surprised since I did not expect anything right away after he came home from work and I gave him a big hug.
Johan has introduced me to the Spanish culture that I have really started to appreciate. I was in Spain for two years ago and I have fallen in love with tapas. When we were to decide where to have dinner tonight the tapas bar in Trondheim was a strong candidate. We discussed others as well such as Chinese, Italian and sushi but we could not resist the tapas bar and therefor we ended up there. We had jamón ibérico, jamón serrano, baked champignon, papas bravas, scampi, asparagus rolled in bacon, focaccia with aioli. We had a bottle of Sangría as well and we really enjoyed our evening together.
Johan looks really satisfied as you can see on the picture. I think that this is his favourite restaurant and I must say that I agree with him. I was not supposed to blog today but since we had such a fabulous evening I had to share it with you. I hope you have had a nice Valentine’s day.
